Error: The ClipArt Gallery cannot run...(opening ClipArt due to ARTGALRY.CAG).
Error:
The ClipArt Gallery cannot run because the database file has been marked read-only. Use File Manager or Explorer to locate ARTGALRY.CAG and remove the read-only file property.
Cause:
This error occurs when starting ClipArt Gallery and the ARTGALRY.CAG file has a read-only attribute to allow multiple users. The ARTGALRY.CAG file contains descriptions and thumbnails of the different pictures in the ClipArt Gallery. A single copy of ARTGALRY.CAG cannot be installed on the network server for multiple user access.
Solution:
Remove the read-only attribute from ARTGALRY.CAG.
Remove the read-only attribute from the ARTGALRY.CAG file.
1) Use the Windows Find utility to locate the MSAPPS folder:
a) Click 'Start' todisplay the Windows 'Start' menu.

b) Select 'Find' and select 'Files or Folders'.
c) Type ARTGALRY.CAG in the 'Named' box.
d) Click 'Browse...'.
e) Select the network drive or local drive containing ARTGALRY.CAG.
f) Select the 'Include all subfolders' check box.
g) Click 'Find Now'.
2) Select 'ARTGALRY.CAG' from the find results window.
3) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Properties'. (The properties dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'General' tab.
5) Clear the 'Read-only' check box to remove the attribute.
6) Click 'Apply'.
7) Click 'OK'.
NOTE: The ClipArt Gallery can only be accessed by one user at a time.
